One Hour A Week!
If you can read and give one hour a week, you have what it takes to make a positive difference in the life of a child. Volunteers spend one hour per week at Bend Area Elementary Schools reading one-on-one for ½ hour with two children. Each child is also given two books per month to take home and keep. The ability to read, and a love of books, is fundamental to a child’s success in life. Please, if you can:
