v Deb Craiger, Senior Center-
o Discussion of Larkspur Park vandalism- how to team up to deal with problem
o Also, discuss Festival at the Senior Center
Deb shared her thoughts about the neighborhood assoc. teaming up with the Senior Center to pull off a big event/fundraiser, such as Spring Festival. Deb/the Senior Center is responsible for raising 60% of its operating budget. She was think of vendor booths, fun run, food booths, kids activities…..
Ed Moore and Rick Rader will attend our next meeting to discuss teaming with them to watch the new Centennial Park. There has been some vandalism since it has opened. Walk throughs at dusk.
7:30 pm ~ Discuss Larkspur/Old Farm picnic second weekend in September (9/10).
v 5:00pm – 7:00pm- We provide Lemonade. We can provide a couple of grills.
Donna will bring lemonade, membership forms. Red bringing canopy and table. Anderson’s going to be there.

· August 11th, Reed Market Corridor Meeting- 5:30pm 7:00pm Senior Center
This meeting was simply restating all the gathered thoughts and comments from the previous meeting. It also was a time for people to continue to express thoughts and ask questions.
There is a walk-through or the roundabout with contractor, city employess, police, school, etc. to review roundabout, Oct. 20th-10am. David and Donna will attend.

Gary will not be filling this role any longer. Carol K. will step in to this position. Debbie M. will assist her. We will vote in another Member at large in Nov. to fill her former position.
Carol will check with developers off Pettigrew regarding pre-app info.

· Larkspur Trail – Red & Linda Gilliland & Carol
Red has been submitting monthly reports to Paul Stell with Park & Rec. Red has noticed that the trail has been quite clean for the most part.

8:30 pm ~ Plan for the General Meeting, -
o should we change to Nov. 3. This way we could get in on the City newsletter that goes out Oct. 31st.
o Also, discuss officer terms, elections-
o Needs: Vice Chair, Membership, Newsletter writer, Social Chair, At large-
We need to make sure that members are aware of an election at this General meeting. We have decided to ask a councilor to be our speaker and address the topic- ‘East side vision’. We will submit questions to our members. David will pull from those questions to interview councilor, then we’ll open the mike for Q&A time.
