o Also, Bear Creek roundabout will be finished before school starts.
o Still concern about Pettigrew and Bear Creek. We will see how the 15th street connection effects this intersection.
o Art committee ran out of money for Roundabout art. We have discussed the possibility of art from school, donated art, recycled art, etc.
· Landuse – Gary B. Gary’s swamped with work. We could use help to step up and keep up on Land use stuff with him.
·
q make a plan to deal with properties going in off Pettigrew, ASAP. Make sure their lot sizes meet the 75% rule, if not- contact the city! This was shared with People. Not really our role to fight for them, but inform resident’s of the ordidinances and what they might do.
· Membership – Stan E./Annie B.-
o Have not heard from Stan. Need to update membership list.

8:00 pm~ Discuss Idea of Larkspur/Old Farm picnic second weekend in September.
Can we reserve the pavilion (paver block area near playground/bathrooms) through Park District?
* I called Kris from the BMPD,389-7275 ext.122. She said they aren’t reserving groups at this time, don’t know that they’ll set it up that way. It is a public park so we certainly could through a big picnic. We should check with Senior Center make sure we aren’t conflicting with any of their events, also find out if Saturday is better than Sunday or visa versa.
*Kris said we should get an alcohol permit ($5 through the police dept.). That way nobody gets fined if the beverages they bring contain alcohol.
* Suggested the grills (which have to be propane) are either in the grass or on the asphalt- but not the paver blocks. If grease spills it leaves a mess on the pavers.
We set the date of Sept. 10th from 5-7pm for a bring your own picnic gathering at Larkspur Park. We are teaming with Old Farm to pull this off. They are trying to get ice cream donated. We will bring a bunch of lemonade.
