Election of BANA Board
Members at Fall General Meeting
Consider being part of
the board or a standing committee this fall. Board
members spend 10 hours per month with BANA activities
including the meeting time and the terms are 1 year.
Benefits are meeting and being motivated by other
civic-minded folks in the community and seeing your
efforts improve the neighborhood. The Chair prepares
agenda, presides over meetings and generally speaks for
BANA in the community including at Neighborhood
Association Round Table meetings. The Vice Chair
serves as Chair in his or her absence and maintains the
membership list. The Secretary assists communication
between board and the neighborhood though email and
recording minutes. Standing committees chaired by
board members include Land Use, Parks, Good Samaritan,
and Transportation/Safety. Committee members
report to the board monthly their concerns along with
recommendations for action. Express your interest in
serving on the board or a committee by contacting us at
