Awbrey Butte Neighborhood Purpose Statement
The Bend City Council recognized Awbrey Butte as a Neighborhood Association on December 7, 2005. ABNA’s purpose is to energize and inform the neighborhood of issues and events that have a direct bearing on the neighborhood and other city-wide issues that may have an impact the livability within the city of Bend, e.g., proposed revisions to the zoning code. ABNA is the 11th neighborhood association in the City of Bend.

Land Use: Liz O'Connell
This committee focuses on a variety of land use issues that impact the Awbrey Butte neighborhood such as the communications towers, residential and commercial convenience zoning and changes in the land use and zoning of adjacent land.
Traffic and Safety: Tom Stump
This committee monitors the impact of traffic on major thoroughfares that access Awbrey Butte including Mt. Washington, Summit and Awbrey Road plus the traffic impact of development at the Rivers Edge convention center on 3rd and Mt. Washington and the growth of COCC.
Membership:
This committee encourages Awbrey Butte neighbors to register as official neighborhood association members so that a significant percentage of the 2,000 plus homeowners are represented in consensus issues.
