Board meeting minutes
Wednesday July 11,2007 

Meeting called to order @ 7:08 pm

Members present: Mike Lovely, June Haines, Robert Tyler, Bill Friday, Joe Barry, Kevin Desrosiers & Franz Berg

Treasurer’s report: $2437.95 in checking, High Desert Printing $167.85 for brochures

Mike talking to the principal of Pine Ridge Elementary about the same room for our next general meeting as the one we used this Spring. It has been reserved for the Fall meeting on Thurs Oct 25, 2007 and he is going to try to reserve it for Spring and Fall of 2008. Mike is also asking Linda Crossman ADA rep. to do a survey of the school to make sure it is in compliance with ADA for our meeting.

Information booth opportunities are unknown at this time Diane Ross handled them. We also read the response for them city about Diane Ross and her position…we still need her she handled several activities.

Future festivals are unknown at this time.

Chamber of Commerce membership: cost is $45 per year hasn’t been paid since March 7, 2006; need to check with Mike Schmidt we haven’t received a bill for renewal. We do have a brochure rack @ chamber.

Robert Tyler is in charge of refilling the brochure racks but has stated that not many have been taken.

Land use; Liberty Bank is going in where Kayos Sports Bar is located.

ONA, C&O and NART; Awbrey Butte cell tower is in wrong place and cut too many trees, lot split in Homestead went through.

Renaissance at Rivers Rim; As of 3:15 Aaron Henson no report…Didn’t meet setback for Amber Meadows; pass due date.

Code enforcement; 29 notices given in Romaine Village; did do some good.

City communication funds; $1.25 lot, 3% increase each year, currently SBNA is $683.18 over budget, another NA may move funds to cover our over budget.

Bend Bulletin; the editorial has printed some unfavorable comments about Neighborhood Associations; need to be able to respond

BAT; Asked if it will expand out further, yes but unknown when that will happen, Chucknut not accessible to stops.

Roundabouts; Third and Reed Market will be getting a roundabout also the sign @ the roundabout @ Wilson is confusing to some.

Question about a crosswalk at Stonegate & River Rim, what can be done.

Fundraiser; none planned at this time we would need someone to be in charge. Possible to have Ads on the website and in the newsletters more discussion to follow.
